Join Our Usability Study: Help Us Improve Medical Device Design

At Aulisa Medical, we’re committed to developing medical technology that is not only effective—but also easy to use. As part of that commitment, we are conducting an in-person usability study this month in Palo Alto, and we’re currently looking for participants.

This study focuses on one of our newest innovations: a wearable ECG & Respiration Module. Your input will help us ensure that people can use this device safely and confidently—just by following the written instructions provided in the packaging.

Why Usability Testing Matters

Even the most advanced technology can fall short if users can’t operate it with ease. That’s why usability testing is such a critical step in our development process. It helps us identify whether our labeling, instructions, and overall design are truly intuitive—so that people can use our products effectively, without prior training.

This is especially important as healthcare continues to shift into homes, schools, and community settings where trained clinical support may not always be present.

What to Expect

The process is simple and takes about an hour. During your session:

  • You’ll be given our device and written instructions—no prior training will be provided.
  • You’ll be asked to complete basic tasks, as if you were using the product for the first time.
  • Our team will observe how you interact with the device and where improvements may be needed.

All observations are confidential, and your insights will directly shape improvements to the product’s usability and safety.

Who Should Participate?

We welcome individuals of all backgrounds—no technical or medical experience is required. In fact, we’re especially interested in hearing from people who may not typically engage in product testing.

Our goal is to ensure that our technology serves a wide range of users, and we are strongly encouraging participation from underrepresented communities.

How to Sign Up

If you're able to participate in Palo Alto during the month of July, we invite you to apply:

Selected participants will be contacted with additional details and scheduling options.

Your participation plays an important role in shaping the future of medical technology. By sharing your experience, you’re helping us build tools that are more accessible, more inclusive, and more effective for everyone.

We appreciate your time, your perspective, and your support of our mission at Aulisa Medical!
